About Us
Funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) under the project of “Understanding Networks in Cultural Diplomacy: Problematisation and Conceptualisation, this network is organising four global events in the year of 2024, including a symposium in the US, a roundtable discussion in Europe, a public engagement vent in China, and a Conference in the UK. Each of these events explores different topics in cultural diplomacy and focuses on different regions.
Our network exists as a vibrant forum for those who understand the transformative power of cultural diplomacy and wish to share their insights, experiences, and best practices. We believe in the power of a shared stage where individuals can learn from one another, collaborate on meaningful initiatives, and together drive the narrative of cultural diplomacy forward.
As a scholar, your research and perspectives can help guide the discourse on cultural diplomacy and inform real-world applications. Cultural practitioners — artists, writers, performers, and beyond — your work is the lifeblood of cultural exchange, providing tangible expressions of our diverse global heritage. Policymakers, your influence can shape and implement strategies that recognize the importance of cultural diplomacy, promoting international cooperation and peace.
Join us today to be part of a growing community that is committed to building bridges between cultures and promoting mutual understanding. Share your research, explore new collaborations, discuss the latest trends, and discover innovative strategies. More importantly, become an active participant in our collective effort to highlight the indispensable role of cultural diplomacy in today’s interconnected world.
