Welcome To

Cultural Diplomacy Network

For Scholars, Practitioners, and Policymakers

Introduction

The conception of our cultural diplomacy network has been shaped by extensive research projects and fruitful collaborations with scholars and practitioners worldwide. Through these endeavours, we have collectively identified the pressing challenges faced by cultural diplomacy actors, including changing foreign relations, limited funding and awareness, policy gaps, and restricted artistic mobility. In response, we firmly believe that network-building holds the key.

We recognise that a significant contributing factor to these challenges is a lack of effective connectivity. To address this, we have established this network as a safe and welcoming environment that fosters open dialogue, enabling us to listen, share, and act promptly. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, promote good practices, and foster trust among cultural diplomacy actors, thereby nurturing an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable ecosystem.

By joining our network, you will gain access to a vibrant community of diverse cultural diplomats, scholars, and practitioners who share a common vision. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to create a platform where ideas flourish, partnerships flourish, and innovative solutions emerge. Together, we can shape the future of cultural diplomacy, overcome existing barriers, and forge a path towards a more interconnected and prosperous global society.

Join us on this transformative journey as we strive to strengthen cultural understanding, promote mutual respect, and build bridges across borders. Together, we can unlock the full potential of cultural diplomacy and usher in a new era of collaboration.
